1st post.....I have no idea what I am doing!

So I really have no idea how to blog, and I am doubting that anyone will really follow this, but I would like to start this as a type of journal.  My sister, Annie, has had a blog for years and it is an awesome history of her kid's lives. Sooo here I am.  If anyone does however read this blog, don't judge my writing skills or my spelling skills:)  I actually started a blog called Chuck and Carli, but I obviously can't remember my password, so it no longer exists, oops.

So currently Chuckles is working two full time jobs.  One of them will turn part time in July, but it is literally killing me to have him gone so much.  I do however get to spend a lot of time with this cute face.

When he does have a day off we really try to make the most of it.  Recently we traveled to Little America in Salt Lake to celebrate Chuck's graduation from Nursing school.  He has been an RN for a year now but went on to get his bachelors degree.  He is pretty much a Murse now, and a hot one at that!

This was a particularly fun trip because my parents were able to come stay as well. Alyse and Sandra
(Chuck's sister and Mom) also joined us.  We ate a delicious meal at Tucanos (I don't know how to spell this and am to lazy to look it up, but I am pretty sure you know the place).  We also explored Salt Lake and did things I have never done before.  We really should have taken more pictures, but I am a failure and didn't even bring a camera, unless you count my awesome phone pics, which is what you are getting now.

We got a chance to hike up Ensign Peak and it was so pretty.   I am a little out of shape and huffed and puffed the entire way up while my mom, the gazelle, basically ran up the mountain. Afterword we ate at Ruth's Diner over by the zoo, it was so delicious, everyone should go there.  Also it is famous and was on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.  It was made more famous however when we walked through the door! :)

We ended the trip with church.  Exciting I know, but it was really cool because it was in the Joseph Smith Memorial building.  It was probably the prettiest place I will ever go to church.
I think James enjoyed the overall experience.....obviously...
